Escape to Cornwall's hidden corner...

St Andrews Cottage,
Cawsand

Seconds from Cawsand Beach...

St Andrews Street Cottage is a Grade II listed house, located on a quiet, narrow lane, 75 yards from Cawsand beach. The property boasts an enclosed courtyard, as well as a private tiered terrace with sea views. Internally, there are two bedrooms (one double, one twin), and a single bathroom, with a shower and bath unit.

A beach retreat...

St Andrews Cottage is located seconds from the picturesque east-facing sandy beach of Cawsand Bay.

The village of Cawsand is a favourite for families, walkers, swimmers, and kayakers alike, with its calm sheltered waters providing a safe and scenic spot for all activities on the edge of Plymouth Sound

St Andrews Cottage is a short walk from the shops and traditional pubs of both Cawsand and its twin-village, Kingsand.

Once in separate counties, the villages are famed for their ancient rivalry and became notorious for smuggling throughout the 1700s and early 1800s.

Minutes from one of Cornwall's finest beaches...

Whitsand Bay - 5 minutes drive away

The beaches of Whitsand Bay offer over three miles of stunning golden sand stretching from Rame Head west to Portwrinkle, and are considered one of Cornwall’s hidden gems.

Reached by steep paths and steps that wind down between the verdant vegetation, Whitsand Bay beaches are never crowded. At low tide the long stretch of glistening sand provides great walking, whilst the consistent swell keeps surfers coming year-round.

Rock pools dotted along the beach reveal fascinating marine life, and out to sea the bay is a popular dive site, home to HMS Scylla, an ex-naval frigate sunk in 2004 to form an artificial reef.

Grade II-listed, with sea views from a private terrace

St Andrews Cottage, a Grade II-listed property, dates from the 19th century. The property comprises original features, including character ceiling beams throughout the ground level, and a wood burning fire in the lounge.

The property has two outdoor spaces.

The first, an enclosed courtyard, is accessed directly from the rear of the property, and makes for a perfect spot for outdoor dining.

The second is a private terrace, complete with outdoor furniture, from which there are exceptional views of Cawsand Bay and Plymouth Sound.
